Running Programs

Whether you are training for a goal race or want to improve your day to day running, we are here to help you reach your goals.

Our coaching services focus on the individual goals of each runner. We do not offer “cookie cutter” training plans because each runner is different. All coaching services start with an individual assessment of each runner. The assessment takes into account the runner’s time commitment, lifestyle, running experience and running goals. With the results of the assessment, a personalized coaching plan is developed.

Dick’s Marathon Training Program

All levels of walkers/runners welcome!

When: Starting July 11 (12 Week program)

Time: Wednesday, 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

Where:  Positive Lifeforce, Endwell, NY

Get Fit to Run: Summer Running Program

All levels of walkers/runners welcome!

When: July 17 to Sept 18

Time: Tuesdays, 5:45 PM to 6:45 PM

Where:  Highland Park (upper ball-field), Endwell, NY

Fee: $ 189.00,  Early Bird Price $ 159.00 by July 10 (new clients also receive a 10% discount)

Level I – This program is ideal for people who have never run before or who have not run in a very long time and want to get a structured introduction to get started without getting injured along the way.  We start with very gentle group workouts combining walking and running. There’s never any pressure, just a supportive and safe environment as we build to the goal of continuously running a 5K/3 miles.  We’ll pick a local 5k or similar race and prepare you for what may be your first footrace! In addition, you will receive online personal coaching to guide your training for each week of the ten weeks.  This will include homework for the in-between group workouts as well.

Level II– This program is ideal for those who have done some running/walking.  (You do not need to have taken Level I to participate).  We start at 2 – 3 miles as we progress towards our end goal of running 4 – 6 miles continuously.  We expand our running skills with a focus on pacing and increased endurance in a fun and supportive environment.  We’ll pick a local road race and prepare you for what may be your first footrace! In addition, you will receive online personal coaching to guide your training for each week of the ten weeks.  This will include homework for the in-between group workouts as well.

All Summer Running Program participants receive the following benefits:

  • Participants meet weekly on Wednesdays at PLF Studios or a local indoor track from 6:45 PM to 7:45 PM
